A new study from Comscore reveals which holiday gifts consumers are searching for online. It is no surprise that the popular iPod and hard-to-find Xbox 360 have topped consumer searches. Harry Potter was also popular thanks to the release of the 6th book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, in July and the recent release of the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire film which is now in theatres. Here were the most popular searches in November.
# iPod - 6.6 million searches
# Xbox 360 - 5.0 million searches
# Harry Potter - 4.8 million searches
# Star Wars - 2.5 million searches
# Barbie - 2.1 million searches
# PlayStation - 1.9 million searches
The above data shows searches for November according to Comscore. We expect that Narnia books and products might creep into December's top search boosted by the films strong box office debut.
